Has anyone experienced an odd pulling or popping felling while pregnant when they move a certain way or pick up something? This did not happen while I was pregnant with my first, but is happening often with my second. Sometimes it even has a burning feeling with the pulling. I am going to ask the doctor about it when I go back but just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced the same thing!!

What can I do next?

YES! I am preggo right now with baby #3, (third baby in three years) and am having the same feeling. For me, it usually happens at night when I roll over in the bed and I feel like I "pull" something in my belly. I also had this with baby #1, so I know it is fine. I have learned that holding my belly when I make moves like this helps alot.
Good luck!

it sounds like round ligament pain. the ligaments that hold the uterus to the abdomen wall, are stretching as the uterus grows. it is more common with each pregnancy because they loose there tone over time. with your first pregnancy, they were firm and tight, and held up longer. because you are pregnant again so soon, they did not have time to go back to normal.

I had this with my pregnancy. The doctor told me that it was round ligament pain. Then the burning feeling are actually small contractions. The further you get in your pregnancy the stronger the contractions will be (they will start actaully feeling like contractions.)

Nothing to really worry about - the doctor just told me that when I feel that feeling to sit for a little bit or lay down if it was a stronger contraction. Drink plenty of fluids (This actually helps!). I wouldnt worry about though. I was scared to death until I found out how common it was. Just listen to your body -- I normally got this feeling when I was stretching myself a little to thin.

Good luck! I cant wait for my second pregnancy, even with a the little problems I had I enjoyed every minute!

Hi, I had a funny bubbling feeling and the doctor told me it was the baby moving around, it felt like gas bubbling in my belly. She also had hickups a lot in my belly which felt really funny :)
The pulling might be a foot or arm stuck in a bad place, my daughter had her feet under my ribs and that was painful, then she sat on my ciatic nerve and I couldn't walk for 2 weeks. Definetly ask your doc but it sounds like the baby might be sitting in a bad spot.

Good luck

Hey C.,

When I was pregnant also my daughter was so long she layed in the corner of my side most of the time. However when I visited my OB/GYN Doctor she stated to me that was normal. Then it felt like something consistently running like water on the inside of my body too. I have only been pregnant just this once. Later on my husband and I decided to go threw with the tubligation process. Good Luck with your second pregnancy. By the way Congradualations ALSO.

I had it also with my now 11 month old. It scared the beejesus outta me but I was told its the body and muscles stretching and growing because of the baby. Thats also why you can't bend over as well now, extra weight and shape. I had a lot of these pains and they were fine. But ask anyway to be on the safe side and calm your fears. God Bless
