I just moved here and I am looking for a new OBGYN also a family Dr. I have been told Olathe Medical Center is a good place. Who do you suggest? I have always had a woman as my OB so I kind of prefer a woman. Even if there are Doctors you suggest outside of Olathe would be great! I have a mirena and would like to have it taken out soon so we can expand our family :)

My OB/GYN is Dr. Saroj Bavishi, associated with OMC. She's no "Chatty Kathy," but I think she's very good at what she does. :) Our family doctor, whom we adore, is Dr. Kenton Kaufman at the College Park facility on Noble Dr. in northwest Olathe.
Dr. Newby is great! She is at St. Lukes South in Overland Park. Dr. Lofton is also great and she is at Menorah Medical center in Overland Park. If you'll soon be looking for a pediatrician I highly recomend Dr. Dawn Peterson. We just changed to her, and LOVE her, and so do our sons, she's wonderful!
My family and I go to see Dr. Casey Tramp at Olathe Famiy Physicians at Olathe Medical Center. She is a wonderful family practice doc. She also did all my prenatal care and delivered my 3week old DD. She is a wonderful doc, very open and honest with you and she is also now taking care of both my daughters and myself. Her number is ###-###-####. I had Dr. Bavishi at Olathe Med Center for both my girls. She is very soft spoken but she has been around a very long time and was great. She answers any questions you will have and I was very comfortable with her. Good Luck finding the right Doc for you. She also inserted my Mirena so I know she is familiar with them.

I have the best, and to all others reading I am sorry to be so up front to say so but I honestly feel this way! Her name is Jeanie Ward, she is an OB and also can see anyone from age 12 and up as a family dr too! Her office number is ###-###-####. If there is even a half of an oz of reason you don't LOVE your OB/DR please call to make one appt with her... I honestly think you will see what I mean! She is not your typical serious doctor but has always hit the nail with the hammer! Not only this, she is never rushing you in and out like most! She is warm, sweet, caring and so knowledgeable! During my son's delivery, she was there from start to finish and we all had a great time! I just can't say enough about her!!!

Dr Jessie Holmes, I have seen many doctors with my children, but she's been soooo good! She is not only the best but knows everything! She also saw me on a high risk preganancy and took the best care possible. I used to see her at the Olathe Medical but she worked at several places at the time.
Here is where I looked it up and found her now but I am sure she is still at the Olathe MC too.
