Dr Posner out of Mission Hospital only handles high risk pregnancies. My friend who has had both twin and triplet pregnancies saw him and I was going to see him with my twins, but I didn't need to. I have heard he is excellent.

Hi C.: I've been seeing Dr. Weatherford Clayton for almost 13 years and love him. He is across from Hogue Hospital (which is a great hospital as well)in Newport Beach. His no. is ###-###-####. He is very soft-spoken and his office staff is great as well. Even when I moved to Corona 9 years ago, I continue to make the trek to South OC to see him. Good luck. (P.S. I think he looks a bit like the actor, Anthony Edwards! He has like 6-7 kids and is always kind and compassionate)

Dr. James Kurtzman is at Saddleback Memorial Hospital. My regular OBGYN referred me to him when it was discovered that I was pregnant with identical twins. You don't have to have a multiple pregnancy to see him, though. A few years, after my first pregnancy, I went back to him because I had had several miscarriages, and was of "advanced maternal age". He is wonderful! Everyone in his office is, as well.

Dr. Weatherford Clayton in Newport is the absolute best ObGyn you could find. Everything from his office staff, to his bedside manner, to the concern for you is simply the best. I have been going to him since I moved here 7 years ago - I have sent many friends to him and everyone is just as happy as me. His # is ###-###-#### and his office is conveniently located across from Hoag. :) Good luck.

If you are high risk, I would recommend having an OB but also having a perinatologist.

I was high risk for my last two pregnancies and saw Dr. Asrat at Magella in Newport Beach--right accross from Hoag. He is amazing, very smart and I felt very safe having him watch over my pregnancy. He and my OB worked together to keep me and my baby safe.

Good luck.
