Hi Guys! I am pregnant with my second baby and would like to change gynecologists. I had a good experience with mine, but I hated having to go to the hospital for everything, including the ultrasounds and lab work. Does anyone know a good all female private group in pittsburgh that isn't at mcgee?
I know you said you are looking for an OB, but have you thought about the Midwife Center in the Strip? They don' do ultrasound on site, but they do everything else, and you can give birth at the Midwife Center as well. So, no hospitals at all.
I go to Patricia Bulseco and associates. there is one male doctor (i think like 5 female ones). For your exams you can request a female doctor, though during your pregnancy you will have to see the male doctor at least once because he may deliver you. but he is super nice. They deliver at St. Clair. They have two offices, one at st. clair (professional building) and one in mcmurray. they do ultrasounds at st. clair hospital. so its not right in their office, but right next door. they do lab work in the office so i'm never sent off for that which is sooo nice. especially since i bring my 2 little kids with me everywhere. I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but you didn't get many responses, so i thought i'd throw it out there. Congratulations btw!
Did you ask your practice if they see patients at other locations? I sent to Womancare Associates. They have an office at Magee, but they also have offices in the Sewickly, Bethel, Monroeville, Irwin, Homestead, and many others. My particular OB saw patients at Magee, but also in Sewickly and Bethel. Other OBs in the practice over the other locations. All you need to do is ask the office what other locations your favorite OB goes to.
Dr. Sonya Noh has an office on Route 51 behind Primanti Brothers. I think the practice is called something like Western Pennsylvania Womens Healthcare or something to that effect.
