Hi Moms!
I'm moving to Baton Rouge in a few weeks, and have already started looking into OB's of course (15weeks pregnant and going to have to switch dr's obviously). But names and phone numbers don't tell you much about an OB, and I don't have time to interview a hundred of them!
So I'm hoping all Baton Rouge moms on here can help me out!!!! Tell me your dr's name, what you think of them (good or bad, I need to know which to avoid too!!!!) and if you had or attempted a natural birth.
I want to deliver at Woman's hopsital and am planning a natural birth btw.

I used Lisa Gautreau for both of my deliveries and absolutely love her! I needed a C-section for my first but she actually gave me the option for my 2nd which I've heard a lot of Dr's don't. I chose to do another C but at least she gave me the option and didn't force surgery on me.
If you are a planning a natural birth then you need to find a midwife. OB's are surgeons. They like to do surgery. Find a midwife and stay at home. Safer and healthier for you and the baby.

She wasn't the doctor who delivered my daughter. I don't remember her name - she was okay, but nothing to write home about.
I also used James Stenhouse for a while, but didn't like the fact that he tried to talk me into methods of birth control that I didn't like, and blew off my complaints about Depo.
Dr. Renee Harris, she delivered my 3rd 8 years ago and my sisters 3rd 12 weeks ago. We both love her. She is very funny.
