My request is that I am searching for a great Ob Dr. with great reputation and a wonderful hospital to deliver my baby.

I loved my OB - Dr. James Herd in Fort Worth. And I delivered at Harris Downtown which was fabulous!!!
I delivered with Dr. Paul Daum in Mansfield. I think he's a good doc, will listen to you, and will not push unnecessary procedures (like unnecessary c-sections). I would recommend not delivering @ MCA. I believe they are the most restrictive hospitals in the metroplex, meaning once you get to the hospital, you're pretty much bedridden (ie not being able to use the bathroom from what I was told).
Not sure of your area, but Dr. Rhodesia LaStrap in North Richland Hills is wonderful. Her staff is great too. They just recently remodeled the entire Maternity Ward of the hospital as well. I had two boys with her, and I would have drived across the state of Texas to stay with her too!

Good Luck!
I love my doctor- I have been going to him since around the age of 20- now 34. He delivered both my girls at Baylor in Irving. His office is right down the street from there. I know its a little far- but I still drive from Crowley to see him! His name is Dr Sakovich and his office number is ###-###-####. Let me know if you would like more info about him. Also if your search MacArthur OB/GYN on the web- they have a website and you can get some info there. Good Luck!
Hey L.
What type of things are you looking for in an OB? If you are not looking for any thing in particular ( besides them being just a nice, decent doctor) , then probably any of the rec's you got would be great! But if there is some thing particular you are looking for, that will change who people consider really "good" or "trustworthy!" What area do you live in?
You can PM me if you want to ask about any thing in particular--I have worked with a lot of care providers in the area and know of even more of them from other colleagues who have worked with them. I feel very strongly in women delivering with a doctor they feel is trustworthy and has the same goal for their pregnancy and birth that they do--I see many woman very disappointed because they stuck with doctor they thought was "nice" but had totally different ideas for their pregnancy and birth then they did! Good for you that you are looking ahead and not just picking a doctor off your insurance list! =)
Not sure where you're located, but Omega OB/Gyn in Arlington is wonderful, you can't go wrong with any OB there. (They also have offices in Grand Prairie & Mansfield where all same the Drs practice at as well.) Dr. Jeffery Morgan delivered my son, and will deliver this next baby. They deliver at Medical Center of Arlington, which has a beautiful new women's center, and it's right across the street from the Dr's office. I highly recommend them.
I used Dr. Steve Seligman on Omega Dr in Arlington and delivered at MCA in Arlington. Dr Seligman was awesome he was very caring and had a great personality. The hospital staff was great, I was there for 4 days due to having an emergency c-section and I LOVED all my nurses.
When I moved here last year and found out I was pregnant with my second child I hated the fact that I didn't know an OB in the area that I could trust. I asked some of my husbands co-workers and other friends a few had gone to Dr. Charles Safely in North Richland Hills and delivered at North Hills Hospital. I went to him and was glad I did. My pregnancy had many difficulties (don;t let this scare you)and I spent the last 4 weeks of pregnancy in the hospital. I ended up having an amnio, a C-section, and a hysterectomy and the best part is the doctor and the hospital were great! No one knew exactly what would happen so they took all precautions just in case - unfortunately I did need most of the precautions - but since they were always over prepared I delivered a healthy baby girl and I am healthy as well. I saw numerous labor and delivery nurses as well as post partum and they were so nice and helpful especially on the days I was scared or nervous and that is when you need them the most. If you have any more questions about the dr or hospital please ask.
I really like my doctor....Ellen Parrill in Arlington.
I assume you are in Ft Worth, but my doc is great, Dr Carolyn Quist in the Medical Arts Center, she will deliver at both Baylor All Saints and Harris.
I have been seeing my doctor since I was 21 and he has delivered both of my children. He is located at Harris SouthWest hospital off of Bryant Irvin. His name is Dr.Michael Howell Here is the # ###-###-####. I have friends and co workers that see him as well.. He is great!
Dr. Greve of Matlock OB/GYN in Mansfield/Arlington is wonderful. He was recently voted the Best Doctor in Mansfield. While he did not deliver my children, he has done 2 surgeries for me and I am pleased.
Best wishes in your search.
Dr. McCullough (pronounced miculla)

He deliverd both my children, and if I had more I would use him in a heartbeat.
Also, a close friend is a Physicians Assitant at Dr. Luna's office...I don't know this Doctor. My friend likes her alot, and she works for her.
McCullough is male and Luna is female.

Not sure where you are, but if in or near Fort Worth, you can't go wrong with any of the Doctors in the Women's Health Medical Group at Harris Southwest Hospital. Dr. Carrington is my doctor, but they are all great!

Someone mentioned Dr. Suba earlier and he's in this group. The nice thing is that they have both male and female doctors, if you have a preference. Also, their staff is wonderful.
They also have an office in Azle, and maybe Grandbury (?).
Hope that helps! :)
I love Jean Sala at Inanna Birth and Women's Center. If you want someone who will work to make sure that you have the best birth experience that you can have, you have to give Jean a call. I've had two babies with her so far. What I most like about her is that she was incredibly respectful of all of my wishes for how I wanted to birth my children. I live in Arlington and her practice is in Denton so it is an extremely long drive for me but it was worth every second of the drive. Some of her patients drive from as far away as McAllen, TX. But it doesn't surprise me that people drive that far for her to deliver their babies. She's amazing! Give her a call if you're interested at ###-###-####
Dr. Stephanie Carson-Henderson with the Women's Group in Bedford is AMAZING!!! I love her so much. I recommended her to a friend, and she loves her as well. She delivers at Harris HEB.
Hi there!
I am not sure exactly where you are located, but I have a FABULOUS OB that I adore - Dr. Steven Suba! He is the absolute best! He delivered both of my babies at Harris Methodist Southwest and the entire maternity ward is brand spanking new! I had a great experience with both babies there and Dr. Suba's office is in the same building as the hospital. Good luck...it is so important to have a Dr. that you love and trust.
L., I love my OBGYN her name is Dr. Rhodesia LaStrap and she is in NRH. I'm not sure if she is taking new patients or if her location will work for you.

Hi L.! My obgyn is the absolute best! Her name is Lisa Gardner (in the Moncrief Cancer building- Hulen area). I've gone to her for years and have referred her to many. I've even sent a mama on here to her and she just delivered (the mama's name on here is Angel). I asked how things went and Angel was completely happy with it all. Dr. Gardner is super nice and makes you feel like a friend rather than a number. She remembers your name and makes you feel super comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Seriously girl, I actually look forward to going to my gyno and that says a lot! I left my cell phone at home so i dont have the # on me but I can sure get it if you're interested.
I went to HEB and my doc is Emily Emmet...she's also out of HEB...WONDERFUL..she's young but honestly, she's fantastic and I've never worried...I had to switch to her because my OB moved to Minnesota in the middle of my pregnancy!!! And she made me feel so comfortable!!!
