I hate to be the naysayer, but nutella is basically chocolate frosting. It is marketed as healthy, but it has a load of sugar in it. Ive thought about frosting a cake with it!
Ok ladies, I am late to the party as usual. I have recently discovered and fell in love with Nutella. Besides toast and straight out of the jar, (yes, I am that gross) what else do you like to like to eat Nutella with?

If you're a member on Pinterest, type in Nutella, and just wait to salivate. The recipes on there are to die for. OMG - need to go get some now. :)
We make "chocolate sandwiches" with it. Which is to say, we spread peanut butter on one slice of bread and Nutella on the other slice of bread and put them together. We don't do this often, but when I do, the kids think they have died and gone to heaven.
Pretty sure my husband would like his smeared all over Giada DiLaurentis - she uses it all the time on her cooking show. Just sayin'
If you like Nutella, try Justin's Hazelnut Butter! Much less sugar, and more of a nut butter than a frosting. REALLY good! I used to put a tbsp of nutella in my kid's oatmeal as a special treat, with mashed banana, and now I use Justin's... and feel better about it.
Enjoy!

Yummy! They must be eaten the same day you make them. They don't reheat well.
I always get a good laugh at that commercial that tries to sell it as a health food!! I can't eat nutella, because I have issues with nuts. My husband likes it on apples, though.
OMG I love nutella and so do my kids.
Here's some ways we eat it:
on waffles, pancakes, toast, crepes
peanut butter & nutella sandwiches
on graham crackers
dipping bananas & strawberries in it
on bagels, english muffins
on a tortilla and putting it in the toaster oven to get it gooey (also sometimes with peanut butter)
on banana bread
and of course, straight out of the jar with a spoon
Get some Nilla Wafers, spread a little Nutella on one, sandwich them together, then dip the little sandwich in melted white chocolate and place on parchment paper to harden...OMGosh, yummmmmmm!!
I will spread Nutella and Marshmallow Fluff on graham crackers and make easy-peasey s'more sandwhiches!
It's not gross to eat it out of the jar. I buy a big jar and eat it that way...a spoonful of it with a little smear of peanut butter over the top is how I eat it. Not gross at all!
Delicious on peanut and butter and jelly sandwiches
Use on apples and sliced bananas
On homemade chocolate chip cookies
Over pancakes, too.
...it's great stuff!
I love Nutella too, I don't get it often because the bottle goes FAST!!
We put it on bread, bananas, flour tortillas and with a spoon.
YUMMY!
I eat it with a banana. I don't eat too much, but just a bit. The two flavors together are so good to my tastebuds. Yummmmmm.

Make a chocolate cupcake and add nutella to the icing
I mixed some with cream cheese once for frosting...one of those "dang, I need frosting, what do I have around" things...it was yummy :)
Nutella on a toasted bagel...mmmmmm melty....
We put Nutella on Waffles or Pancakes with banana slices - my son likes it in a pita - toast the pita bread (again bananas or apples are acceptable here too! Oh and walnuts ;). My man likes to make popcorn and then mix a little nutella in and freeze it (adds walnuts there too).
Wow! So many uses and ideas.
I don't buy it because it's SO unhealthy.....so BEWARE!

Oh my goodness, we love nutella! It's good on graham crackers, toast, apples, and bananas. We also eat it with strawberries (my favorite). Tip: don't dip fruit straight into the jar. It will make it yucky. So I've heard.....:)
Hi A. ~ Buy some wonton wrappers and smear the middle of them w/some nutella seal the wrapper & fry in a little bit of oil (it will resemble a fried wonton) place cooked wontons onto paper towels to drain off the excess oil then sprinkle w/some powder sugar & enjoy! Yum! There is a recipe on foodnetwork.com under Giada.
Straight out of the jar is awesome!! lol My daughter loves it with apple slices and I use it for s'mores instead of chocolate bars!! My kids also make peanut butter-banana-nutella sandwhiches too. Dip vanilla wafer cookies or animal crackers in it...........
I think if you go on their website you can find recipes too :)

Ritz crackers........... YUM!
Nom nom
I like it directly off the spoon, but my girls like it on a tortilla wrapped around a banana or on crackers
Eta... It does have some healthy aspects to it, protein and fats from hazelnuts. 100 calories a tbsp isn't too bad either.
I like it on slices of Granny Smith apples, on graham crackers, and on waffles.
I like to spread it on a tortilla and roll it up...... yum! It is also great to dip pretzels in!
On crepes.
On anything.
With ice cream.
Again, eat it with anything you want.
My kids like a tiny shmear on their pancake :)
pretzel chips ... and crackers ... and goldfish ... and, well, yeah, straight from the jar ....
I guess I'm going to have to try some of this Nutella stuff. Never tasted it. Seems like I'm missing out on something good by the way of all these posts. Hmmmm.......but do I really need something else to get addicted to? LOL....
it is amazing but absolutely not healthy fyi. But anyways, the top best incredible nutella recipe is to make crepes, let them cool slightly, then fill with sliced strawberries, bananas and nutella. OUT OF THIS WORLD.
PS To cookingmom, hahaha! My hubby loves her too! And yes, she is OBSESSED with nutella!
My SD likes it on just about anything - graham crackers, toast, fruit, as filling or frosting for cupcakes...makes great s'mores and also goes well with peanut butter. We eat both Nutella and peanut butter with a spoon. ;)
crunchy peanut butter on a bagel
graham crackers
My kids will put it on just about anything.
Never w/jelly at my house...peanut butter yes though.
We eat ours mostly on crepes w/strawberries and/or bananas!
nutella mug cakes!

have you made your own nutella? it's quite do-able, delicious, and healthier if you use good ingredients.

My son is crazy about Nutella and seriously, his favorite way to eat it is right out of the jar.
It's good on apple slices......
- Flufffernutters (aparently it's southern california thing, I've never seen them elsewhere)
2 slices of bread
Nutella on one
Marshmallow Fluff on the other
Bam!
Fluffernutter Sandwich
(SoCal is also the home -in my mind- of putting a chocolate chip in every hole in a waffle and toasting it).
- Dip a : bannana, strawberry, orange, kiwi, pick a fruit, any fruit
- Stirred into icecream
- Stirred into coffee
- dessert crepes
- pancakes
Oh, welcome to the club!! There are nutella rolls recipes you can find online,or spread it on a banana and serve it as a snack. I like to dip breadsticks (the hard, crunchy kind) in it...it makes my PMS so much more bearable....*-)
pretzels, strawberries and apples! Also have a great nutella cupcake recipe!
I love Nutella. I can't believe there is something out there that is that good:) LOL.
It's great on ice cream.
