My pug loves to lay across my belly. I love when the baby kicks and the dog feels it. He is so confused and jumps up and stares at my stomach.
I am curently 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby and now is about the time when you really start to feel that baby wiggle and squirm around in there =) Ive noticed over the last few weeks though that everytime my daughter (23 months) is close to me and talking or touching my belly and talking to her sister that the baby just goes nuts. She starts to kick and squirm all over the place. To me its the best feeling ever because I feel like the baby knows its her sister and she is moving around because she is happy that she is there. It just melts my heart as a Mother to already feel that sister bond when this baby isnt due for another few months to come
Has anyone else experienced this before? I guess this is just a feel good question - Happy Monday all

MIne would go nuts when I played the tape of Daddy's voice reading. He was deployed. Another would "dance" at music time. I was a pre-K teacher at the time.
When I was pregnant with my daughter she would go crazy when her brother was playing the Wii - I guess the noise just got her all excited - but it always made me smile like she couldn't wait to get out and play with him!
Yes. When baby 3 was born, she was already in love with her big brother and he was already in love with her. They are best buddies.
Reminds me of my 1st experience as a mother. When my daughter was born and the drs took her, she squalled her little head off. They handed her back to me and when I laid her on my chest, she was instantly quiet. They took her to be weighed and measured and she screamed her haed off, laid her back on my chest and she was hushed. That day I realized, we are still connected. She knows my heartbeat and she is still a part of me.
That is so happy! I really want a second :)
YES!
Im pregnant right now(6 months) with my first boy.......when he hears his big sisters screaming and yelling he almost hurts me!, lol
How wonderful! We didn't know what baby #2 was but DD kept saying "my sister". She would wash my belly and talk to "her sister". Well, her "sister's" name is Chase! She was not happy to find out that sister was a brother! Oh well! :) They are 23 and 19. I think she has finally "accepted" him.
I'm just starting to feel movement with my second. My 3.5 yr old loves to come up to my belly and talk to "his baby" and "tickle" the baby. I definitely feel movement after that!
Not exactly the same thing, but...My 2nd & 3rd babies both LOVE this really loud & crazy sounding "BINGO" song that we used to listen to while driving my oldest to/from daycare. I was pretty much on repeat during my entire 2nd pregnancy whenever we were in the car. When he was a baby and would scream his head off in the car, we'd just turn on that song and he'd instantly quiet--memories of the womb. He still loves that song, and he's 2, and now our 7 month old does the same thing.
had two older daughters when i got pregnant with my son. They were 1 and 3 when I was pregnant. They used to squeal and scream when they were mad or fought, and argue when they wanted to feel the baby in my tummy. When they were squeal or scream my son did flips and soccer kicks like crazy... when he was just days old and home, he actively sought my oldest by looking around and catching her gaze if she was there. He would stare right at her, and when she came in a room talking he would fix his eyes on her. I think they have some kind of connection.
I didn't have that experience, but I just want to say happy mommy to you! Or whatever that's called!
