You guys know they don't automatically pull questions for not having questions? They have to be reported.
Just got back from my son's elementary school art show, and was struck by how much one art teacher has accomplished with 500 kids that have greatly varying degrees of artistic ability :-). I could not believe how much effort went into staging and mounting each student's work - from kindergarten to fifth grade - in a way that made each child's work special. Because we use this site to deal with questions and problems, often what we read and share is negative. I just wanted to send out a big thank all those hard working teachers out there who go well and beyond for our kids. So consider this an anti-vent post. Thanks Mamas -- I appreciate the space and everything I've learned since joining.
Thanks everyone. Big thank you note written to the art teacher, with copy sent to principal .

We have some really great teachers out in the world!!! Hopefully this will get back to them at your school as well!!!
I'm glad it went soo well!!
Good teachers have a gift and I am thankful for many of the good teachers I and my children had. They are priceless. Great post!
I will never be able to thank all of the teachers that have been in our daughters life. Without them, our daughter would not be the success she is. I could never do their jobs.
They are dedicated and passionate about their students..
LOL @ anti-vent... does that come in a pill?
Glad it went well :)
Yay! Make sure to write a very special thank you note to the art teacher. She will likely cherish such a genuine "thank you" for many years to come.
Just a suggestion: write the teacher a thank-you note and copy to the principal and superintendent. Good teachers don't often get the thanks they deserve, and letting their bosses know about it is an even greater thanks!
I totally agree with you! Great teachers need to hear our thanks more often.
But, quickly, put a question in there so it doesn't get pulled.
I especially appreciate art teachers because they can help kids who aren't successful at reading and math feel good about themselves.
