I don't want everyone to know where I live. How do you make it so other moms can't see your town? PS...... Right now it is lying about where I live.
I guess I will just keep lying. I would be fine with it except I have a friend who has had problems with her town being posted on the internet. I am from Oregon, just not Gervais Oregon.
There are a lot of things that make me sad.... but not really knowing where you live is not one of them! I'll waste my sadness on real stuff thank you.
Keep on lying. Who really cares? I don't. I barely even pay attention to that. (And if you were looking for an area-specific answer, you could put a city nearby where you live if you want.)
Ummm -well, then, you've obviously done it, haven't you? It says you're from Gervais, Oregon, and you say that's not where you're from -so doesn't that answer your question?
It makes me sad to learn that people lie about where they live. I am fine with it if you lie just about the city or town but the state should be accurate. Why? I put a lot of effort into my answers and some of my responses are area specific. It also helps me understand where you are coming from when I read posts.
Kelly and Bobbi..to answer you question why it makes me sad. It reminds me of the fact that this is really a shallow, untrusting format. People write personal traumas all the time and the fact that they can't tell the truth on where they live makes me wonder if their traumas are real too. This is in addition to the other two reasons I already posted. But I suppose sad is the wrong emotion to put with it, annoyed is closer to how I feel about it. And I guess you two are right, who really cares? I did. I guess a better question is "Does anyone tell the truth?"

You can't make it so that other moms won't see a town. There will always be a town listed, whether it's your real town or not.

I change mine all the time...I too, think it's kind of strange to put my actual city.
~I just change it every so often but they are all places that I have actually lived :)
mine is my real state but not my real city, too. I have noticed some people just have their.... can't remember which , just state i believe, I don't know how they did that, i might mess around and see, i'll let you know.
You can't hide your city. The best thing to do is keep lying about where you live.
