I care for my 2 yr old granddaughter. I do not receive payment and I baby sit in my home, provide all, diapers, formula, milk, meals, toys etc. I am not licesed and was wondering if I could use some my expenses as a deduction.

What can I do next?

You cannot claim these things as expenses since you are not receiving payment or a 1099 for self employment. :(

I am not a tax professional and the best advice that I can give you is that you contact the IRS.

Hope you get an answer to your question.

Sorry, no. They are only tax-deductible if you are claiming income from providing the service. If you're not getting paid, it is out of the kindness of your heart, as are your related expenses.

If you are not receiving income for it, I don't think you can deduct it.
