Can someone let me know the next time it is advertised for Noggin, not Nick? We still haven't figured things out from my posting below. We checked for it this morning and wonder pets was on for us. If you know it is coming on Noggin again, just let me know. Thank you!!
We watch a lot of Noggin in our house. They have been advertising the new Backyardigans movie "tale of the mighty nights". What channel is this thing on!? We tune in to Noggin at the time it advertised and regular programming is on. This has happened twice and they are advertising for tomorrow at 9am again. We look at the guide and wonder pets is on! I looked at the other two Nick channels we have and don't see it either. We have DirecTV Choice package with two other Nick channels besides Noggin, is there another one we don't have? We just switched from Dish network because they didn't make the switch to 24 hours programming and we didn't want to miss these types of premieres, but once again we are. We look it up online and are still confused by it. Can anyone help explain this?? So is regular nickalodeon and nick Jr. the same thing? When they show commercials for this on Noggin, why don't they tell you it is on a different channel?
We called DirecTV and found out that we don't get the movie premieres!! It is controlled by Noggin and Noggin has some kind of contract with cable that NOONE tells you about when you are ordering!! We are so mad because we just switched over and just assumed that if we got the Noggin 24 hour channel that we would get the movies. Wanted to let everyone know who might also be looking to switch carriers too. Thanks for the help!
I would like to know this too! My 2 1/2 year old son is a Backyardigan's freak. I think I have almost every show on DVR at this point and really want that movie:)
Ok I know you have already solved your original problem but i thought id let ya know we have comcast and we saw that movie on noggin and nick about 20 thousand times. If you are lookin to switch i really recomend them. good luck.
It was actually on Nickelodeon. I know that they have been showing it over and over again since the debut. My kids 2 and 5 love it!
we recorded it just this morning on noggin, but it was originally on nick in the evening last week. In the guide, it may show regular programming, but flip to it, it should be on at the advertised time. BTW, my kids loved it!!
It was on last week on Nick at 7:00 pm. Not sure when it is on again. I watched it with my 2.5 year old girl. I have dish network.
We watched it on Nick. In the morning its on Nick Jr which is on the regular Nickelodeon in the morning. We actually caught it by accident. Its Nick Jr from 9-2 then we change it to Noggin. We don't actually watch the tv the whole time, but its usually on for background noise.
Our TIVO recorded it this morning. Just keep watching, it'll be on again.

Nickeloden is the channel. Sometimes they air it at 7pm. That is when we recorded it. Tomorrow go to nickjr.com and click on shows, then tv schedule. When they show The Backyardigans and then under it says continue that should be the one (they don't have the schedule for next week up yet). If you aren't sure if it is the right one, just click on it and it will tell you what the episode is.

I see it will play on Nick Jr. I didn't see it on Noggin but that's because I quit looking. btw, I used Tivo to view upcoming episodes - it plays quite a bit. So the other posting is correct, you need to make sure you are on the same time zone as direct t.v. directory.
That's pretty good that your 2.5 yo "gets" the Backyardians. My almost 3 year old doesn't care for it at all except on the computer.
We watch this stuff a lot as well. The show was on Nick Jr., Nicks regular channel, yesterday and on Noggin today. Now, are tuning in at the time it says, because it's advertised at the standard time time. I don't know about you, because it depends on where you are, but we are central time here so it's an hour earlier than it says. We do have cable though so I'm not sure if the programming is the same as DirecTV. I hope this helps.
