I am 5 days late neg test and no af in sight. I've had off and on mild cramping so I thought I was getting ad but no. Been to the Dr but didn't get checked got a wait and see. I've never been this late accept when I was pregnant. I did have unprotected sex around ovulation time but my husband had a v snip nearly 3 years ago. Are there any other reasons besides the obvious for such a late and no period?

sometimes I just skip a month all together. If the test comes back negative I just mosey on my way and realize that I just didnt have one. Thats it plain and simple.
My ex SIL had 2 vasectomies. He had 3 kids afterwards with various women. The last one finally took.

Are you asking if you could be pregers even though your husband had a vasatomy (sp) or you had sex with someone else - unprotected? Why would you need protection if your husband had a v snip? Personal question, not my business.
Of course there is always the chance. But five days late is no biggie for most women - for me it wouldn't mean anything. But everyone is different. There can be lots of reasons for a late or missing a period, and stress is way up there on the list. Could this just be stress??? Sometimes hormones change, sometimes diet affects it, missing vitamins in the diet, etc. There could be medical reasons but none of us know, that's why you need a doc.
At this point you may want to simply calm yourself and not worry, I know easily said, but really, Calm down, you'll only make it worse with worry. There is nothing to be done right now anyway. If you miss another simply go to the doctor. Try to breathe and let it go for now.

And yes, you could be pregnant, but you may also just be late. Five days wouldn't even make me blink. Everyone is different.
How old are you?
Periods can get less predictable as we get older.
The Dr said to wait and see - so wait and see.
In a months time you'll certainly know one way or the other.
I'm guessing 'af' is short for Aunt Flo.
How old are you? Have you recently changed or stopped using birth control? It is actually very normal in your 30s for our period to have times when it is less on schedule. Also, stopping or changing BC can have affects on your cycle.
Well if you had unprotected sex then yes you could be pregnant.... simple as that.
Go get tested.
