Hi,
I am looking for a new GYN, with hopefully soon also using them for OB.
1) Does anyone have experience with either Dr Tracy Verrico or Dr MArina Jacobson?
2) I delivered DC in Hackensack, but would be open to delivering in Valley, Englewood or Holy Name. Does anyone have experience with these hospitals? If yes, can you tell me of your experience and tell me of a Dr you recommend?

Valley has a wonderful maternity department. Check out their website. It is probably the most mother/baby friendly hospital in Northern NJ. If you like what you see on their site, email me off line and I will give you some doctor recommendations. I am a birth doula and have worked with the majority of the Valley docs!
I toured Hackensack but did not deliver there. I have heard good things about Holy Name and Valley hospitals. My grandmother has volunteered at Holy Name for decades and says they are very friendly and nice over there.
I delivered at Englewood Hospital almost three years ago. I enjoyed it although I have nothing to compare it to. The nurses and services were very helpful. My OB/GYN is Dr. Hetal Gor.
i have a newborn so can't go into detail....but my obgyn is Dr. Keanchong out of hackensack university med center and she is THE BEST dr. all around that i've ever encountered!!
she delivered both my children and is not pushy....she listens very well and recommends and is open to discussion. there is no rush when she sees you. good luck and i hope u go with her...you won't regret it...=)
