Newly Married and TRYING

So, we were married on September 3 and as far as I know, I was just at the end of my fertile window on our honeymoon.
(Key note: My cycle is only 21 days, so according to most calendars/calculators, I am fertile most of the time).
I had another (lighter than normal) period starting on September 11. I have been unusually tired, breasts are a little tender and stomach is just miserably bloated. I also had some bad pain in my lower front/back area over the weekend. It felt like gas, but hurt so bad that I couldn't really make sharp movements. I have even gained a couple pounds while trying to lose it. I have taken 3 tests over the past week (a couple days in between) and all have been negative.

Anyway, all that said to ask this.... Could I already be having symptoms just from this last cycle? Or could I have gotten pregnant on our honeymoon, still had a light period, and have negative tests still?

I already have two children (7 and 11) but I can't remember much about the first month or so.

I knew I was pregnant 10 days before I was due to start. Everything about my body felt different. My sense of smell had changed already when I smelled certain foods that I would normally like, they made me feel sick. My boobs weren't just tender, they were on fire. When I would take my bra off at night, it would almost feel painful at first to release them.

If you have a 21 day cycle, and you had a period Sept 11th, I would think you could get an early detection test turn positive by the end of the week. Good luck!!!

Hi -
I'm not sure what you mean when you say you are fertile most of the time because your cycle is 21 days. You are not fertile most of the time. There will still be a day when your egg drops and then you are fertile for about 2-3 days. If you aren't pregnant right now, you should try to start tracking your ovulation so that you DO know when you are fertile. They sell kits in the store. They say that most people ovulate around day 14 or 15. When that is the case, you should start tracking (using the kit) around day 10. Then, when you hit the peak, you would know. People's cycles are very different from each other. Since you have a very short cycle, I would recommend that you start tracking around day 8 or 9. You can keep trying in the meantime, but if you track for 2-3 months, then you will know when you are ovulating. When I was trying to get pregnant, I discovered that I really did ovulate on nearly the same day of my cycle every month (with in 1 day).

Good luck,
L.

Go to your PCP and get a blood test then you won't have to worry anymore...you may be having pregnant symptoms or your body could just be adjusting to change..

Stop taking the tests - all you are doing is stressing yourself out...go to your PCP and have blood drawn...you'll know proof positive.

Good luck!

Could go either way. You can be hyper-sensitive to symptoms, or you could be pregnant. Test in a week and see.

The 2nd time around I knew I was pregnant before I was late as well. I'd just kind of hang out for another week or so, see how you feel, take another test, & if it comes out negative but you're still feeling off, call the doc!

Go see your doctor! I had two ectopic pregnancies that resulted in emergency surgeries and removal of my tubes. Both times I had pain like you are explaining.
