I am at a total loss! My elder DD will start K in the fall. She's registered for a summer camp, but there's a 2-week gap in care from end of her day-school session and the start of camp, and a THREE week gap at the end, before school starts.
We're going to take a family trip one of those weeks in August, but that still leaves a total of 4 weeks to figure out! Recommendations, please! What do other WOHM moms do? I'm in a whole new world...

p.s.: I'm in "farthest" north Dallas: Hillcrest/Campbell. Just south of Bush/190. I'd like to stay south of 15th St in Plano, east of the Tollway and not too far east of 75. I work at 75 and Spring Valley.
Don't know if this would help as it's not quite enough 'time' ... but the rec centers have fun summer camps that usually run 9-2 or so .... maybe some of them are longer .. perhaps you could look into somthing like that.

You might try calling my daycare provider. She's in inhome daycare. My 3 y-o son is there. Not sure what a "DD" is. Haven't heard that term before. I found Judit, the provider, through a mamasource mom, whose 6 year old went there and her 11 month old daughter is now there. She is an awesome cook and is really great. Talk to her and see if you can work something out.

* When I was sick, she made me dinner one night. Another time, she kept my son when my car broke down and a friend had to pick him up. She's an absolute doll and my son loves it there!
