I am new to town and I am in need of a good OBGYN - I want someone who is easy to talk too, really listens to their patients and really considers what the patient wants, I would prefer a female doctor. Thanks!
I have a great ob/gyn her name is Dr. Lisa Colon. She really made my experience as easy as possible. I had a lot of problems with preterm labor and she was very informative and compassionate. Her staff is exceptional as well. I would recommend her to you!
I agree with Kelly W. Lakeside Women's are great. I've see Dr. Paine and I adore her! She delivered my little girl by emergency c-section at 34 weeks and everything went so well that baby and myself were able to go home five days later. She is also a young doctor and she has a baby of her own. She is also very open-mined! Good Luck!

I really like my OBGYN, Kathryn Wild, who is in the Lakeside Women's Clinic ###-###-####) and has hospital privileges at East Jefferson and Lakeside (Tulane-Lakeside) hospitals. Dr. Wild took the extra time to answer questions (and I had a lot of them while pregnant) and she was open about working with us for the type birth experience we wanted when our daughter was born. There are several other doctors in that group and they are all female. Dr. Robin Bone in that group is also quite experienced but still young.
Several friends say that Dr. Perrett who is a female doctor near Touro is fabulous but I haven't met her.
