I moved here in July and was pregnant with my son. He was born on Dec.06 and was tring to meet other parents in the area. I have a 5 year old daughter and she needs to play with other kids.
I am grateful for everyone writing me back. I would love to set a date and time for all of us to get together and have a playdate for our kids. Just an idea, but remeber I really do not know of a place besides Chuck E Cheese. Maybe someone knows of a better place shoot some ideas to me!!

Hi K. and all the other mom's out there as well. A nice place to take your kid's out on a play date or even just for yourselves with your children, is the Playground. It's out in Ankeny and it costs 7 dollars for them to play all day long. It costs the parent's nothing, but we can play on the equipment as well with our children. I have been there once with my 3 yr old son why my other 2 children are at school. It's very clean and alot of fun. I just wanted to throw out this suggestion to give our kid's something new and different to do. Hope everyone enjoys if they ever decide to give it a try out. Take care.
