While flicking through the remote tonight, I came across a new show called Extreme Moms. It is about "Over the top" moms. Extreme germaphobes, one mom was an exhibitionist and another dating all the time and ignoring her kids, another extremely over protective. These moms are what they are to an unhealthy extreme and a psychologist is on the set to help if needed.
The show is pretty stupid and I am sure a lot of it is fake but, it got me wondering are any of you extremist in anyway?
It is funny that I never come into contact like these crazy people on reality shows.
I don't think that I am - I may be a little over the top about food. I don't like food that has been sitting in the refrigerator for more than a few days and I throw away a lot of food because I don't like the way it looks. Some people cut the mold off their melon or cheese but I just throw the whole thing out because I think it is so gross. I guess some may call that extreme. I know I probably waste more than I should. Also, I can't eat at a public buffet - YUCK
I vote we start a new show... "The Wars Of Mamapedia". It can highlight all of the unnecessary drama on this website.
I know, I know... Horrible idea... But I still think it's better than 'Extreme Moms'. Lol
Although I am a Reality TV junkie, I never like the reality shows that seem to glorify the ignorant. So, no, I won't tune in to that but I love every Real Housewives of Anywhere.

I can't imagine that any of my boring self is anything like any of those folks, to be honest!
You know which one bothers me more than this? "Pregnant and Dating" on WE. That will be the #1 trashiest show on TV. It's the equivalent of MTV's "16 and Pregnant" all grown up. Basically, a bunch of knocked up women who go around looking for a daddy for their unborn kid. Why is that considered entertainment? These women are whoring themselves and their unborn children out for $$$. Makes me so sick.
I suppose I'm extreme in that we hardly watch any live TV anymore because of all the stupidity that passes for programs these days.
We buy the series we like on DVD and watch them that way.
These people are self absorbed. The poor kids.
No I don't have any extremist stuff that I know of. My husband thinks I'm weird about some things but he's the weird one. Like I can't stand that he puts the dog bowls in the sink with other dishes or takes a fork and mixes their food in their bowls. Yuck! I stop him but he continues to get caught.
Ugh, that is awful!
To be fair, I think we are all weird and extreme in different ways. Most of our weirdness would not make for interesting tv, though. I recently went on a trip with some friends and we all discovered how "weird" we are. One of us cannot stand wet hands, she has a hard time with swimming because of this. We did go hot tubbing but left when she could no longer handle having wet hands. It is almost like a phobia for her. I had a panic attack in the car on the way there, so that was nice (I will partially blame a new medication I took, which apparently can cause severe anxiety). Also I realized a few days into the trip that I had not made a list in a few days and I felt weird. I am a list maker to stay on top of things and my friends could not fathom that one. One of the gals is terrified of bears and therefore will not camp, ever. It was great because we were in Jackson Wyoming and there were stuffed bears literally everywhere. She had to take a Xanax.
We had a great time teasing each other about our weirdness!
I'm not, but I have a friend who is such a germaphobe that her 3 year old told me to "scrub like a surgeon" because germs are very very bad. Hilarious.
I am not extreme in anyway but I know a mom who could be on the show for extreme germaphobia. I have my quirks as everyone does but none are TV worthy. :)
What has tv come to..the shows they bring nowadays they are beyond stupid..extreme mum,pregnant n dating,16 n pregnant that showis not even helpin at all instead its increasing the number of pregnancies amoung teenage girls...cant wait to see what they will bring up next..about being extreme no I'm not..
