We're new in Azle, and there are so many things I am looking for help finding: a place to get my hair cut at a reasonable price, someone or a group to walk with and a nice place nearby to take my baby for walks, a group of crafty people to get together with. I'm also looking for a running buddy (planning to run a half marathon this fall). So far everyone has been incredibly friendly, and I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends.

What can I do next?

Welcome to the big city of Azle. I have lived here nearly all my life. Hair salon is Hair Today, 121 W. Main Street, Azle. ###-###-####. My hair stylist is Rhonda. She does an awesome color job on my hair. I get a hair cut and double color for around $65. My son's hair cut is $7.

Welcome to Azle!! A good place to walk your baby is the park Shady Grove. It has a short trail but is shaded and close to the lake. I am also a scrapbooker and a beginning card maker. There is a scrapbook store between here and Springtown called Scrapbook Getaway. She is just starting so classes are limited. We also have Hobby Lobby in Lake Worth. The almost always have coupons online or in the Life section of the Sunday Star Telegram. Haircuts I can't help you I go to Saginaw but the girl I use is out for surgery for a while. I did got to a place on Main Street but they charged $30.00 for a haircut and I didn't think that was reasonable but I am VERY frugal. Good luck and enjoy!!

Welcome to Azle!!! I second Shady Grove park and the new Central Park will be opening on the 16th. I have not been there but my husband has. He is a Tarrant County Deputy and drove around in there one night. He said it is going to be very nice. It is on main street and is right behind the new Library, which is not yet open. I can't help ya with running partners. I am just starting my weightloss journey and do not have the stamina to run, LOL. I taebo, swim, hit the heavy bag and ride my bike. Hopefully someday I will work up to running. I may pick your brain about scrapbooking. I am clueless but have wanted to do one for my kids and our daughter that we lost 8 years ago. I have not found a decent place to get my hair cut yet. Though I did find a barbershop that is awesome for my son's hair. BTW I live in the neighborhood right next to Harris Northwest. I have a 5 yo girl and an 8 yo boy. And again, welcome to Azle.
