Hi to all the moms!
We have recently moved to Fairview, TX. I am a professional photographer and trying to start my business here. I dont have any network here and no friend either. As I am struggling to find ways to reach to moms-to-be and moms, I can surely love to get some help from local moms :-)
On personal side, I have 2 kids (almost 7 and 3 yrs) and wonderful husband. Besides my family I dont have any friends here and I do yearn for a good close gal friend. I am a free thinker, spiritual but not religious. Love reading, traveling, cooking, and of-course photography! If any like-minded is reading this and looking for a friend, I will love to hear from her.

I live pretty far from you (about 40 min.) otherwise I'd love to meet up. I was just gonna say that if you don't find a fit on here, you might look into meetup.com. I've found 2 moms groups there. :)

Welcome to Texas. We are fairly new to Dallas as well. I have a little girl that is 3. Like the other mom suggested there are moms groups on Meetup.com you can join. If you want to meet up sometimes, let me know. Take care.

Hi! I live in McKinney and have a daughter who is almost two, a step-daughter who is ten and lives with us, a step-daughter who is 18 and is in the Air Force, and a daughter who is 21 and lives and works in Oklahoma. Yep - lots of girls! I work from home as a writer/editor, and I too like to have close gal friends. I met another friend on this site last year, and we've been friends ever since! She is a photographer, too, so maybe we could all get together sometime! Sometimes we meet at a park and walk with the kids, and especially now that it's getting cooler, I would love to do that more. My family is not religious either (we don't really even call ourselves spiritual, but obviously we're open-minded or we wouldn't have any friends in this part of the country!). Please get in touch with me if you would like to meet sometime and maybe start walking with me occasionally. I am trying to lose some weight I gained from having a baby at 40! I love reading, scrapbooking, and traveling (my husband is a pilot). I hope you love it here!! We love this area so much that our daughter's middle name is McKinney. ;o)
I'm a little north in Anna, but I'd love to meet up! You sound very similar to me, though my kids are a bit younger at 3, 2 & one on the way. I'm from Oregon originally and have been in TX about ten years. I've been married almost eight years with two little girls. Before kids I travelled a lot before kids and dream of doing it again in the future. I was in finance and IT in my previous world but now stay home. Same with me ...I live close to Bethany's area so near McKinney is a little far other wise I too would love to meetup. (But on the other hand, I would love to hire you as a photographer as my husband and I want family pictures done with our 2 month old. )
