I no longer live in that area, but, when I did, there is a good Mom's Club group. www.momsclub.com should be able to help you find it. I know they have playgroups. Also, Family Village has some great classes, ongoing or drop in that would give you good opportunity to meet new people with kids your kids age. They also offer playgroup placement.
