D.D.
My neice and her hubby took a picture of them in front of their new house holding the sold sign. They sent it over to Walmart.com and had post cards made up. Very cute.
We just bought our first house and I want to send out announcements to friends and family because we live far away from all of our family. I have a 7 month old so I want to include pictures of her – any suggestions on who offers something like this online?

If you use one of the photo services (I prefer shutterfly!) you should get a picture of your 7mo in a packing box with packing peanuts - too cute!
Congratulations!
You could make your own with postcard pictures through www.snapfish.com or www.shutterfly.com. I use both these sites and I love them. One is a little more price, but have super neat things you can do.
COngrats!
I've used Walgreens and CVS photo depts for pictures and creating books. They're great! Take pictures of your daughter in different parts inside and out of the house.
I just did mine through Walgreens online. Then you go to the store and get them. There are other companies I'm sure that have more choices.
You can also design your own at www.CreateHeritage.com
Love the postcard ideas ... don't forget to make it informational with your new address. A friend I know included a gift registry which seemed like she wanted a moving in shower .... don't recommend this ... Online you could do a video so your family can do a virtual walkthrough.
I've used zazzle.com for customized t-shirts, business cards, and posters. They ship very quickly and usually have a promotion going on where you can get a percentage off your puchase or free shipping. You can even order personalized postage stamps (stamps with your own photo) but they are a little pricey on those.
The site is very user friendly and you can create just about anything you want or use an existing template.
I always use walmart.com for my Christmas cards and baby announcements, but they have lots of designs you could use to make your announcments. You can either use the 1-hour service, or you can get free shipping and cheaper cards if you use the "ship to store" service. I've always gotten my cards much quicker than the estimated arrival date they give you (usually in just a couple of days).
Vistaprint.com - design your own announcement (you can include a picture) and also get matching business cards (Mommy cards) that you can hand out as you meet new people (especially other Moms with babies!). I did this the last 2 times we moved and I had new cards made up after the birth of our last child.
Every time I hand one out, I get compliments and people tell me what a great idea it is. My cards have our family name as the main line and then all of our names below it (Mom, Dad & all the kiddos) then I put our home phone, my email, and our address & cell phone numbers.
Watch their site, a lot of times they offer FREE cards or announcements and you just pay for shipping.
Congrats on your new home!
