Hi there, i have been going to Dr Vic for awhile, he is very kind and gentle. My 2 1/2 YO has not actually been to the dentist except when i go he comes and sits on my lap. I plan to take him around 3. Good luck.

Hi Stephanie - I know two dentists, one I use personally and the other I network with - both are excellant and near la grange either in oak lawn or westchester. Do either of those locations fit your need?
I just started seeing Dr. Patrick Pendleton in Western Springs and he is great. He did a great and thorough check-up, did some repair work in my mouth, and was great with my daughter who was almost 3 when we went (now she is 3). She keeps askgin when we get to go back. I've been pretty picky about dentists and I really like him.
My dentist is the best! I've gone to him since I was 5 yrs old. I live in Downers Grove now, but still drive out to see him because I trust him implicitly. I have a total fear of doctors and needles and such, but not of Dr. Shanahan! He is gentle and kind and always up to date on the latest technologies. I started going to him, when I cracked one of my wisdom teeth during the 4th month of my pregnancy. I never liked dentist, but he is great. He is very reassuring and very easy to talk to. Good Luck!

I personally go to Dr. Bronke-Wind. She's on 47th & LaGrange road. I'm super nervous with dentists (my dentist when i was a kid didn't use novacaine to do any work!) and she deals with me well! :) My son on the other hand, I take him Dr. Brown in Lyons. He has such a gentle touch with kids. I don't know about you but at 7 I sure didn't beg my parents to take me to get a cavity filled! LOL
