Call doctor or take child to doctor before it gets pushed in too far. I hope you dont get insults, all kids do something like this at one time of another! Good luck! :)
She can't seem to get it out and she is trying to find a way to get it out. Advice? Please no insults.
Thank you everyone! I took her to the doctor and by then she managed to push it in far enough where they couldn't even get it out with their tools. They said to just wait a day or two to see if it falls out. If by a week to take her to a specialist. Gotta love youngin's!

Go to a doctor. It is not worth the risk to get it out yourself.
Since you've already tried, stop trying now. If you continue, you may damage his ear drum. You need to take him to the doctor - one of the walk-in clinics could help.
They have a specific type of instrument that can do the job without hurting him.
So sorry. Kids do the darndest things!
Dawn
i haven't read the other answers but pull outward on the bottom part of the ear gently and use a flashlight to see if you see it. if you can see it, then try to remove w/tweezers. if you can't see if, then go to the dr. kids do this all the time.
How far in is it? I'd try tweezers. Can't do anything that will push it farther in the ear. If that doesn't work, the child needs to go to the ER.
I'm assuming you've already tried tweezers.
I'd take him to ER - don't want to push it further in.
My daughter put a tiny rock in her ear when she was younger. We couldn't get it out, the doctor couldn't get it out. It got infected and she had to have it surgically removed. The rock was sitting on her eardrum.
Go to the ER-they will safely be able to remove it
Go to the ER or call and see if urgent care will take them. They are used to pulling stuff out of ears. My husband did it all the time as a kid.
If you cant see it to get it out with tweezers and it doesnt work it's way out by morning, take to the doc. I'm sure they love these kind of things :)
I had a daughter who did that years ago. We went to the ear doctor. He has a little vacuum instrument. I held onto my daughter while he stuck the instrument into her ear. It came right out.
I agree with the tweezers, flashlight and magnifying glass. You could probably get it out yourself, just be VERY careful not to poke anything with the tweezers...don't want to rupture the eardrum.
I don't know if this would make it worse or not, but perhaps using an eye dropper, you could put some hot water (not scalding) in there to see if it would soften up to get it out easier.
I would take her to the hospital immediatly
