Need Venue for Son's 1St Birthday Party. Any Recommendations?

Somehow the guest list for my son's 1st birthday party landed at 89 adults and 46 kids (most around the age of 1). I'm guessing that around 100 people total will come. Unfortunately we can't host this many people at our home, so we are looking for a venue in the Concord/Walnut Creek area to throw his party in November.

Since November weather is unpredictable I am looking for an inside venue, preferably just a large room with kitchen. The theme is "Let's Have a Ball" so it would be nice to have lots of space for the kids to play with inflatable balls. We'll also be inviting some friends without kids.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Check out Grow Studio in Concord. I went to birthday party at their Berkeley location and the kids had a blast. I don't know if it can accommodate your specific plans but it's worth checking out.

If you dont mind driving to Pleasanton - right off the 580 on Hopyard is SuperFranks - they have large, large rooms for rent and the place is absolutely AMAZING for kids...

I went to a 1 year old's b-day at PH rec...had a huge kitchen, large room for the party. There were about 150 guests..so plenty of room for your party and a ball area...i believe the cost was pretty reasonable as well.

If you are looking for something a little more pretty, downtown clayton has a really pretty hall you can rent. i forget the name, but a little research on the net should do the trick.

Veterans hall in lafayette is nice too.

Good luck!
