You do have to pay to join, it's 19.95 a month but you can have a free trial to see what it's about. I love this program, Amy, the owner, walks you through what you need to do step by step. You don't need any knowledge about blogging or websites to get started. Also, what is great about this program is that you know it works because it is something that she actually does herself. She started 2 years ago and now she makes $5,000 a month from her blogs. Lot's of other people also make a full time income following the steps in her program. I know you said you didn't want to spend any money, but it may be worth considering.

Also, check out KGB or ChaCha.com. Neither will give you a full time income, but it can help supplement your income. These are great because it requires no phone work and you can set your own schedule up.

Check out www.TreasureTrooper.com/minella I made 58$ last month and I did about an hour ever week night while I was watching TV. It's free to do and it's a very easy way to make extra money. I think of it as a hobby that makes me money.

If you have Facebook, check out http://cloudcrowd.com/i/65abd6 They offer tasks for you to do. I've heard it's very easy. I don't have any personal experience with it yet, but I am starting it today. But I have heard good things about it.

There is also Amazon Mturk. It's where you get paid to do simple tasks. It's a great way to earn extra money. If you like to look for products online or help other people find good deals on items, check out IMShopping, you can get money for answering peoples questions.

There are also at home call center jobs, such as West at Home and Live Ops.

Edit: I also wanted to add that you can sign up to test websites. Check out userlytics or usertesting. They both pay 10 dollars per test and take about 10 minutes to complete. I signed up with both, but have only done a test with Userlytics. It was very easy and they paid the next day.

I do not know about working from home but....we needed extra income but didn't want to put kids in daycare. I went and got a job at my local grocery store. It is very close to my house. I applied in the bakery and got a very PT position as a baker. M-F When I work ,I work 4am-8am...that way I can get home and get kid(s) ready for school and I am home before daddy has to leave to his job. On the weekend when daddy is home I can work whatever. I do not make a ton of money but it is enough for groceries every week. Since it is retail also I pick up more hours around the holidays, when we need it!

Maybe something like that would work for you?

I have been working from home for Cultural Care Au Pair as a Local Coordinator for the past 5 years and love my job, its flexibility and the fact that it is a family friendly company. I set my own hours and make a decent supplemental income. Let me know if you would be interested and I would be happy to share more!

I did work at home for about 6 months. It was from a local printing shop. BUT there is a lot of running back and forth to pick up and drop the items off. And it was WORK. Some of the jobs paid well, but none of them were "easy." I did this before I had kids. (Actually, I was 16 and just happened to stop by on the right day when they had some people quit and had a ton of work. They weren't even allowed to hire people on the spot but the lady did because they were in such a jam.) It did work out well for me because I was able to pay for my car in the short time I worked there. But I would not do it again.......

I also signed up for a shopper gig. Again, not worth it. You can't bring your kids on the "shops". And they are time consuming. Plus if you fill out the paperwork wrong at all, they deduct or don't pay you at all. And only a few are given enough pay to even MAYBE be worth it..... I signed up for one shop but never completed it after spending about an hour going through everything and doing the PRELIMINARY paperwork. The shop would have been 2 hours and then the after paperwork would have been another hour. The pay for the whole job was $16.......

So, there are really no good work at home jobs that are legit and actually WORTH it........ I have more stories I could share about relatives who signed up for stuff, paid their "fee" and then never heard from these "companyies" again...... So BE CAREFUL.

I suggest that you BABYSIT FOR A FAMILY! This is probably the best option for you. You can be home with your kids and make some money. A small ad in a local paper would probably get you some calls. Or advertise on craigslist or hand up posters at local establishments. At least in MN, if you watch ONE family, you do NOT have to be licensed.....

I was in a similar position. I did not want to put in my kids in daycare, I want to be the one home with them during day. I watch one toddler full time and another family with two children twice a week. It is perfect. The three days that I am just watching the one toddler, I am able to go out and take my daughter and the baby I watch out to the library, playdates, etc. The two days I watch the other children we stay home and play at home. I am able to be a M. and make extra money! I love the fact that even though my kids are growing up, I always have a baby around to play with!!

I just went through this problem but thankfully we worked it out and I did not have to work. but I was looking into serving or being a 'baby sitter' at night. you can make like 10-20 per hour cash watching other peoples kids and hey, you are good at it and have exp. Good luck!
