My moms 70th Birthday is coming up. i want to make one of those cd's set to music. Does anyone know a website where we can scan the photos in and pick the music we want to play. We have photo's from the time she is about 3 and some live action stuff. I know they make these things I just don't know how to do it. Is there a program? a place? the easier the better as we are not super tech savvy but I know it can be done. help..........

What can I do next?

I agree with others, get a high schooler to help. My daughter has used power point and prezy (online program).

She's done this since middle school. This past senior year they made 20 minute movie presentations, etc.

Most high school kids breeze through this! Good luck!

My son just finished 8th grade and he's been making self running power point presentation projects since 7th grade.
Ask any teen in your neighborhood - they might be able to help you.

You know what you need? You need a high schooler! They know this stuff! My son taught me how to make a powerpoint presentation complete with pictures.

Find something you like and show it to a highschooler you know. Ask him or her if they know how to do this. Show them the pictures you want to use. Then let them sit beside you and watch you create art! Serve pizza and put a cool movie on while you work so that you can ask questions. Then give them some money to thank them for their time. Pay better than the sitter.

Good luck and enjoy!

Yup, find a high school student who needs to make a few bucks. My son puts together Power Point presentations on a regular basis for his school assignments. It'll probably be cheaper and certainly easier than buying the equipment and program and trying to teach yourself how to use it. Plus, the end result will look more professional.

Do you have Microsoft Power Point?
If not, you can download OpenOffice for free.
There are YouRube videos that explain it.
If you have a Mac, you can use iMovie.

We use animoto.com all the time. You upload the pictures, then code the music. You can the rearrange them if you want. We've used it for birthdays and anniversaries.
