Hi, I have three things to get embroidered... I live in SE Richardson. I just called EmbroidMe in Plano. They told me it started at $20 a name!!! What??? Where are all the embroidery places? I was also hoping for a bit closer....

I don't know if Carrollton is too far for you, but Softwear Embroidery is a great place! Their phone # is ###-###-####, and their website is www.softwearembroidery.com. I know the owner personally, and a LOT of my friends buy stuff from her! She might also know someone who is closer to you that she would recommend.

There's a place inside the Walmart on Park and the Tollway. I've never used them, but it may be worth a call.
The place at Walmart is called Hometown Threads. I've used them 10+ times for baby gifts and I've been happy every time. They charge around $10 per name. They also sell cute blankets, bibs, etc that you have have personalized. The price of the item usually includes the embroidery.
They might have other outlets in town because it's not a Walmart-owned company, it's a franchise. Check their website.
