Need Suggestions for a New Camera

I would like any suggestions from those who really like their digital camera. I have about $150.00 to spend. Mainly I am looking for clear pictures, and would like a camera that I can take pictures one after another quickly. My current camera takes so long to reset for another picture that the 'kodak moment is gone'.
Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

I don't have a specific model to recommend, but I always buy Cannon cameras. I've had good luck with several Cannon models over the years.

We have an Olympus Stylus 1010 that we love. It takes great pictures and my favorite feature is the 7x zoom. We got ours for $149 at office max over the summer and then my mom bought one for herself on sale for $129 this fall.

I switched from a Canon Powershot to a Panasonic Lumix last year, and LOVE the Lumix. It has the quickest turn-around time of any digital I've tried--and also has very little delay between when you press the button and when the picture is taken (this drove me CRAZY with the Canon--it wasn't a long delay, per se, but long enough to my 2yo to move on!). You can get a smaller Lumix for under $150 (mine is actually one of the cheaper models). GL!

I bought a Nikon Cool Pix in 2002, and it started wearing out earlier this year (but it still works, it's just slow and the lens cap doesn't open by itself anymore). I loved it so much I bought a newer version of it. I figure if my old one lasted 7+ years I would get a newer version of the same thing! I got the touch screen one, but my MIL just got the regular Cool Pix. Nikon's are very good, quality cameras! My MIL paid $88 for her's on sale at Target on black friday.
