Need Some Input from Other Moms

my son just turned 3 a few days ago and got his vaccine shot that all kids get when they turn 3. he got the shot on tuesday afternoon and was fine but this morning(thursday) he had jello legs when he got up from sleeping through the nite. he was fine when he went to bed last nite at 7:30pm but when he got up at 7am his legs were wobbly and he held onto the wall and my hand to get around. he did not cry or seem in pain though.

so i took him to the pediatrician and during the time in the waiting room he started to play with another boy and some trucks. he did seem to get a little better after about 40 mins first thing in the morning but he was still hobbeling around when we left the house to go to the dr's office. after 2 mins playing with this boy and the toys he was running around crashing the trucks with the other kid ! my husband and i just looked at each other like "what just happened?" so when the ped. saw him he watched him walk and run fine and gave him a physical exam(stretched his legs and check his knees) along with looking at his eyes, ears, mouth, ect. so the dr came up with nothing wrong with him.

i am just worried because the last time something weird happened last year before he turned 2 he started falling for no reason.after a few trips to the ped. they finally sent us to the hospital for tests and my son was diagnosed with a seizure disorder.
which he is on medication for and currently he has been seizure free for over a year now(thank god).

other than this morning he is a very healthy kid no other issues at all.

anyone ever experience this with your child ? the dr did say if he had gotten the flu shot or the h1n1 shot that could have had that effect on him but he did not get those shots. just the shot that all 3 year olds get for school (i don't know the name of it)

thank you for any input/help
D.
p.s. no changes in medication.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

he is fine now and just an FYI: his seizure disorder was NOT caused by the vaccines.
i really wish all the moms who don't believe in vaccines would get over themselves already
and if you can't be helpful then just stay quiet please.i don't think i need to say the name of whom this is for.
why does nobody seem to think it was just growing pains ?

You need to stop vaccinating him!!!!! How many warnings do you need? He has a seizure disorder and yet you are still forcing toxins into his brain and CNS? Excuse me for being a bit rude but come on......

speak with your ped again and ask what the vaccine was. Apparently, your son had an adverse reaction to it.
Typically, it's the Mercury that the virus is sustained in.
Don't allow any further vaccines. Check on the internet for organizations that do not vaccinate their children. Home schoolers are typically in this class.
Good luck and god bless.

If I had a chance to go back to that point in time with my children I would research (in depth) every single vaccine they received as well as the potential side effects.

I would also ask to see the package insert for the vaccine, and would make a note of the lot #.

If I had a child whom I believed *may* have had an adverse reaction to a vaccine, I would be even more cautious about future vaccinations.

The CDC has information about vaccine side effects. http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.htm . One of my favorite sites about the dangers of vaccines is www.nvic.org. I like to consider all possible "sides" of this issue when trying to act in my children's best interests.

Good luck to you and your son.

Hi D.,
Not sure if you know this, but you don't have to by law vaccinate your child and especially not for school.
Check out some very interesting information:

Good luck

D.,

Do you have a pediatric neurologist for the seizures? If so, contact that person also...just to see if there is anything on that side of the house. Have you changed medications, or dosages, etc?

My husband has been epileptic for 7 years now, diagnosed at age 27 when he had 4 seizures in 2 days. We've seen strange stuff from changes in medication.

Best wishes, C.
