kraftfoods.com has TONS of ideas and even has an exp for kids menu section!
I have two things coming up that I need snack ideas for~First one is my daughters pre-k class. I am assigned 6 times a year to bring a healthy snack. I don't want it to be plain. I want to make it creative. Then also, I've been assigned to bring snacks to my daughters soccer team after a game. The soccer snacks I really don't care about being creative. The kids will be hot and just wanting a drink and something to eat. But both places are requiring 'healthy' snacks. Please help with some ideas~Thanks

All of the previous recommendations were good ... but, I would NOT use peanut butter in case one of the children is allergice to it. Second, my MDO does not allow go-gurts because the kids squeeze them out of the tubes and make a huge mess. Just a little food for thought...
Other ideas ... pretzel sticks, waffle sticks, teddy grahams, or any cracker shaped like a Nick Jr. character. ;)
Good luck!
As far as the go-gurts, I understand the mess factor...but if you freeze them they are less messy and way more fun. I don't know if there would be a way for you to keep them frozen though. And pre-k kids LOVE goldfish crackers. My daughter especially loves the rainbow colored ones. Fruit of any kind is always a hit. My kids love string cheese and they make them now with chedder and mozzerella in the same "string." What about a "trail mix?" Like cherrios, pretzels, goldfish, raisins, etc all mixed up? I made one for Thanksgiving that the kids went crazy over and all the items in the mix represented part of the Thanksgiving story. Anyway, have fun with the snacks. Don't let it overwhelm you.
Sprouts in Flower Mound has some healthy snack ideas. I have recently started shopping there and we are eating much healthier. My kids(almost 2 and 4) LOVE the Snap Pea Crisps, they look fun and taste like a Cheeto but are really just baked snap peas.
Have fun,
M.

Can you do fruit? I always like doing mini-fruit kabobs (pineapples, grapes, straweberries)--just clip off the pointy end before serving. My kids also like a kabob with buffallo mozzerella, tomatoes and basil. Also, try hummus with assorted veggies like carrots and red peppers--my three year old son could eat a container of hummus in one sitting. Apples with some yogurt or tahini dip could work too.
If you can't do fresh produce, look at the snack aisle for products without partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup or artifical stuff. You could get pretzel sticks or cheese and crackers. I actually love making a big fruit/cheese tray with three types of cheeses and lots of different fruit and flatbreads (yes, my kids and friends eat this!).
For something fun, you could even set up a yogurt bar where the kids make yogurt parfaits with fruit and granola.
I also agree with a previous poster and would avoid peanut butter.
Good luck!
I hate to break this to you, but the pre-k kids won't care at ALL about cute and creative :-)
Some ideas for PreK- cheese sticks or cubes, gold fish, any character made into a cheese cracker, grapes, crackers and peanut butter, peanut butter tortillas (take 2 flour tortillas, spread PB on them, smoosh together and cut into triangles) ham and cheese rolled into tortillas, Applesauce or those individual fruit cups. You can make sugar free jello jigglers and cut them into cute shapes, bananas, GO-gurts (you know the yogurt in a tube), small baggies of strawberries, raisins....
For soccer I would stick w/ sliced oranges, bananas, granola bars.... The baseball team loved the Capri Sun sports drinks and of course gatorade!
Have fun!
