I recently moved from Dallas and would like to find a pediatrician closer to home. I prefer a female but will consider a male doctor.

My 20 month-old daughter has seen Dr. Miranda O. Ramirez since birth. She's in NW Plano off of Preston just north of Parker Rd. She is very sweet to my daugther. She has two little girls of her own and is a warm, motherly type. She's fairly casual in her approach, is always quick to return our call and everyone in her office is really nice, too. Her website is www.ramirezpediatrics.com if you'd like more information.

I have an 11 yr old daughter and I use Nena Piga and her daughter Naomi. They are on 15th street in Plano a few blocks from Medical Center of Plano. I love her. Both of them take all the time you need. I gave her a referral on this site. Naomi just joined her mom about a year ago or so.
Good Luck!

Dr. Lily Han at Windhaven Pediatrics is wonderful! She is in practice with Dr. Monica Herrera and Dr. Danny Kim. Their office is at Plano Presby at Parker and the Tollway. It is a VERY busy office, but I really like the doctors.
Who is your obgyn? They might have some good referrals. Our pediatrician is Dr Norman Minsky, located by Med Center in Plano. We picked him b/c children LOVE him. I am not kidding, I see kids running to get back to his office. Of course, my son is the first and only kid I know who doesn't act like they like him:)
We love our pediatrician, Jennifer Darrow. She is affiliated with Medical Center Plano and is located at 15th near Coit. She is part of a group practice and all the doctors are fabulous. I especially like Darrow, Samora, Okammor, and Hebbur. They are very thorough and caring. I never have trouble getting in or with billing etc. The practice is called Pediatric Place. Good luck.
I take my for kids to Dr. Christopher Newton at the Centinnial Building on Coit and HWY 121. He is super and great with the kids. My neighbor uses him too.
I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and I have a recommendation for a pediatrician. The group is called "Kids Docs Pediatrics Associates" and they are located in Presbyterian Hospital at Midway and Parker Rd in NW Plano. Their telephone number is ###-###-####. There are 3 Dr.s there and 2 of them are excellent. My daughter typically sees Annie Philip. She is available and absolutely includes the parent in on any treatment decision. She carefully explains options. The other fabulous doctor is a man, Dr. Daniel Ramirez. I would describe him as a completely scientific mind who can't learn enough. Yet, I would also describe him as a gentle soul who loves to talk about his kids. When we have a problem that seems complicated, or when I want it explained with minute detail and precision, he's the man. However, in general, since my daughter is a girl, I prefer to have a woman do the majority of the doctoring. Just my preference, it has nothing to do with him.
