My daughter just turned 3 and I want to take her for her first dental appointment. My insurance is a DHMO so there is not a lot of choice. Do you know of any good pediatric dentists in the Dallas area? Most of the ones covered under my insurance are Monarch Dental (I went to a Monarch office and didn't have a very good experience which is why I am a little hesitant to take her). Also, if there is someone I should definitely stay away from, please let me know. I also need advice on how to prepare her for the dental visit. You moms always come through for me; it is like having extra moms, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, etc. all in one place. Thanks for all of the help.
I haven't personally been to this pediatric dentist yet, but heard nothing but wonderful things about these dentists. I hope they take your insurance. I will be calling tomorrow to make my daughter's appointment.

Have to agree with advice listed. These are the referrals my pediatrician (and now my daughter's) gave my parents and me as a parent.
