We are looking to buy a new double stroller. We bought one before our son was born at a rummage sale, but 2 weeks ago when I was going for a walk with the kids the wheels broke off. It was a Graco and we liked it, but I thought I would ask around. We have been looking at the Sit and Stand Plus, but I would like to know what other moms think. Is this a good stroller, is there one you like? My daughter is 4 and 38 lbs and my son is 6 months old and 16 lbs. We have a GMC Jimmy, so we have some room, but not a huge amount and would like something easy to manuver and not too difficult to lift and fold/unfold.
Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the responses. We decided on a Sit n Stand Plus and LOVE IT!!!! We took it to the Mushroom fest by my in-laws and on vacation to the Dells and got a lot of use out of it. My son falls asleep in it, and my daughter loves riding in it. It is easy to manuever, fits in my car and I can get it in and out easily. Thanks!!!

We just bought the sit and stand plus. I LOVE it! I keep it in the back of my van and use it to go to the doctors, the postoffice, the grocery store... everywhere basically.
The seats do hold up to 40-45 pounds so that is great. I love that our son has the option to sit in a seat (we use this if he falls asleep). We had the older sit-n-stand and loved that too, but this one ROCKS!!

I have the Graco Duoglider and the Sit N Stand. They are both harder to manover and turn than a single stroller but I do like them both very much. You can get the longest use with the Sit N Stand due to the max weight guideline. You can buy a stretch caddy for yourself so you can have one drink holder along with some pockets with one being a zipper pocket for the Sit N Stand if it lacks one. For luxury I like the Duoglider but it's heavy and bulky. If your child is fine standing in order to see the view you see or sitting and having to see you then the Sit N Stand will work fine.

Maclaren strollers have higher weight limits than most strollers out there. I can easily push my 50lb 6 year old around without and effort. We don't use it anymore but I could.

They make side by side double strollers

I'd go to Babies R Us and try it out

I have a 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter and purchased a double Peg Perego Aria when my daughter was born two years ago. We used it for about a year, but then my son wanted to walk half the time and sit half the time so I ended up just using my single Peg Perego most of the time because it has a standing bar on the back for a big sibling to use...and now at 4 he walks 80% of the time and then gets tired and stands for the rest. I'd recommend buying one of those instead since your daughter is 4 and shouldn't be sitting much longer.
