R.M.
Hi J. I used to be a nanny for over 15 years but now am a stay at home Mom of an almost 5 year old little girl. I would love to talk to you about caring for your little boy if you haven't already found someone. I live in the PRP area.
I am in need of a childcare center in Louisville, KY. I have searched online but havent been able to find many reviews. I need somewhere that offers both part-time and full-time childcare at a good price. I don't want to send him to a bad daycare, I want to be cared for just like he was at home with me.
I am in the southend- shively-prp area

Check 4c's website, google Community Coordinated Childcare. It has some family owned daycares listed, you still would need to call and set up tours and whatnot. I think there is a checklist of things to look for, but if not search the web and find a good checklist to go through as you tour and talk to people. I am looking for childcare too but just part-time, less than three hours daily, and I tried creating a posting on craigslist and have gotten a lot of response. There are lots of resumes on there from people looking to provide childcare, and with an individual or family you might get better care? Who knows really but that is where I would start. If you have any questions about the websites I looked at or what I found message me, I would be happy to help, I have found this childcare issue so daunting!
J., where are you going to school? Many of the universities and colleges in the area offer child care services at a very modest price for their students. Check with the personnel office where you go to school.
