We just moved to Kalamazoo a few months ago and we are not near any family or friends! Needless to say, it would be nice to find a trusted babysitter.
I am in the same boat we moved here in november, with family living in GR. I have not had any luck in finding anyone. but I will keep looking and keep helping when I can.

Where exactly are you? I'm off of Gull Rd. So that is where most of our babysitting is.
Yeah I know the feeling. We moved to Kalamazoo about a year ago. Since we moved here he and I haven't been able to go out anywhere. Our nearest relatives are like 200 miles away. I have never had anyone but relatives watch my children so I don't know what to look for in a good babysitter. Also since we moved here I am not close to my friends either.
