My wife has just recently been diagnosed with brain cancer and we are moving back to Oklahoma in the next 2 weeks. We need moving boxes and I was wondering if anyone had any boxes from a recent move? What we need more than anything are wardrobe boxes and dish boxes. Again any help would be greatly apprecated.

I'm sorry I don't have boxes but I did want to say that your wife and your family will be in my prayers.
I have a couple dozen good boxes that I was going to put in the recycle bin tomorrow morning. If you would like them, contact me directly at: ____@____.com
I do not have wardrobe boxes but they are medium sized boxes and would be fine for china etc.
You should check the free section on craigslist.com just be sure to click on Dallas on the right.
They are always giving away moving boxes. Good luck!!

We have recently moved here from California and have many boxes left over. You are welcome to as mant as you need. Just let me know when you can come by and pick them up.
I have boxes as we just moved to Allen. You are welcome to have them. Let me know as we will be throwing them away tomorrow night (trash night). They are basic boxes (not wordrobe).

I'm in the middle of a move so I need all the boxes I can get. But I did want to tell you that I did say a prayer for your wife. I hope that you look for a cancer support group in a church once you get to OK. May God bless you and your family.

You can go to Walmart and let them know you need boxes. They normally request that you come back at some time late at night. When we move I generally make one 2 am run and am able to get all the boxes we need and then some.
Hi C.,
I'm sorry to hear about your wife. I hope all turns out well.
There is a website called craigslist.com. I found someone in Plano who has boxes he/she is giving away. Here is a copy of their post:
We just moved to the Plano area and have around 40 or 50 boxes that we no longer need. They are availalble to anyone for free.
These are not your ordinary boxes. We got them from a manufacturer back home that they would receive raw materials in. These boxes come with a lid that covers the entire box. 90% are the same size (dems 23.5" x 15.5" x 15.5").
None of these boxes are broken down as it will compromise the integrety of the boxes. These are double walled boxes.
I emailed them to make sure they still have some you can use.
In the meantime, please verify for me you need them so I can pass that along.
Or, you can go to craigslist.com, select Dallas on the right side and then select the "Free" section. Their post is on May 5th.
Best wishes.
