My son is approaching one years old. I Know he needs some shots but wasnt he suppose to get some at 9 months? We moved here from out of state aroundthat time and whe I called to make an appointment they told me NO not till 12 months. But he was scheduled for shos back home at this age. Is it bad to miss a set if he was due for them?

What can I do next?

If you have the immunization chart, bring it to the pediatrician because you might have to catch up.

I wouldn't stress about it too much. Yeah it is important for little ones to get there shots, but they can be caught back up easily if he is now behind.

They have a wellness checkup at 9 months but there are no shots at that visit. If you are still concerned though, I suggest calling your pediatrician to make sure they have your son's medical records from his old doctor and that everything looks up to date. :)

As others said, I dont think they get any at 9months, but also, different states have different schedules so it is possible that his might be altered a bit to get him on track for the way your ped does the vacs.

Hi A.,
I know you probably already solved your issue, but if you would like, I have a schedule of when children get their shots. If you would like me to email you a copy, let me know and I will do so. My email address is: ____@____.com
This way you'll know ahead of time of what your child will be getting the next visit. :-) Let me know. G.

We are on a delayed vax schedule. So we are always behind. It's not a big deal. You will be fine.
