I am looking for someone to come in once a month to clean my mother-in-law's one bedroom apartment. She is disabled, so although she can move around the apartment, she uses a walker and is very slow. This means she can tidy up the kitchen, etc., but she needs help with vacuuming, mopping, dusting baseboards, cleaning the tub, cleaning the blinds, etc. If you or someone you can recommend would be interested in this, please let me know. Of course she is on a fixed income, so the price will have to be reasonable. She lives in midtown, Kansas City. Thank you.

What can I do next?

My sister & I both use Judy Becerra. She is a miracle worker at my house. Most important, she is honest and won't steal. Her home # is: ###-###-#### / cell: ###-###-####. One of her relatives will translate for you over the phone as her English is so-so. I can't say enough great things about Judy. She is also reasonably priced. We live in Brookside, so I am sure she can go to your MIL's.

I have had a friend, Stephanie, cleaning our house on a monthly basis now and she is great- flexible, affordable, and very tidy! She charges based on size of house- but is super reasonable. Let me know if you would like her info!

Marge, with Squeaky Clean, ###-###-#### has cleaned our house for several years now. She has a really good team, and she comes out as well. I'm sure she' be very helpful and understanding of your MIL's limitations. Her prices are reasonable, too.

Why not as a gift to your mil, you and your husband go clean it once a month for her? It'd be a lot cheaper for her!
