Need High Fat Baking Recipes!

I just got pampered chef stoneware and it needs to be seasoned with high fat foods. I mostly eat lower fat foods so I am kinda at a loss. I have tried google but it always finds me low or no fat recipes so that doesn't really work. Any recipes?

What can I do next?

butter, avocado, coconut oil, animal fat, and olive oil can replace any oils or fats that you use in regular recipes. They really are much healthier than any processed or hydrogenated oils anyways

I'm a Pampered Chef Consultant. All you have to do with your stone is give it a light coating of vegetable or olive oil before you use it the first time. Use a paper towel to spread the oil. Your stone will naturally season the more you use it. It will eventually turn a nice golden brown and then (after a long time) dark brown to black. I've used stones right out of the box without oiling them and they've eventually seasoned fine. Don't worry about trying to do high fat recipes on them.

I'd check the Atkins website, as their recipes are pretty much all high fat

Try Paula Deen's website! "if a recipe calls for a stick of butter, why not add two?" :)

CookingMom is right,, but I also know a lot of people season the baking stones by baking some cheap brand of biscuits in a can. Like those "Grands" made by Pillsbury. They are loaded with fat and help get the stone in great shape for baking. There is no need to make a meal high in fat just to season it. Im surprised your PC dealer didnt tell you this. And if they didnt tell you how to season it, I worry they didnt tell you how to clean it too. DO NOT USE SOAP on your stones. Just soak in water after it has cooled, and scrape with a plastic spatula or scraper to get the foods off. I hope you picked up a couple cook books from PC too. They have the best stuff!

I use PC stones and you just need to cook regular recipes in them. It will build up over time. Just grease it well with oil or butter each time you cook something. Probably one of the easiest things is to just roast a chicken in the stone. You can bake some bacon instead of frying it in a pan. It bakes up nicely and of course is greasy! You can also grease up the pan and bake it at 325 for an hour to get it started. No food necessary. Same way you season a cast iron skillet.
