G.W.
Good for you! You have already been strong and brave. . .just keep being strong and brave for yourself and your baby.
I don't have any tatoo resources but it's a good thing it's winter and you can wear turtlenecks.
I know this is a strange request but maybe someone will have an idea for me. I have just left an abusive relationship and need to have a tattoo removed from my neck. It is my abusers last name and since we are in hiding it is not good to be so easily identified. I have looked to several agencies that help with domestic violence but so far nothing has come through. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas! Thanks for your help!
Thank you so much for your encouragement everyone! I really appreciate the support! I am happy to report I found a laser removal shop that is going to do my sessions for a very reduced rate due to the nature of my situation. I go in for my first session on Monday! I am very excited to have this part of life finally over and be able to move on in some very real ways!! Thanks again for the support!!

Good for you for getting out of that relationship. Your child will thank you one day. If you are not able to get your tattoo removed, you could look into Derma-blend. It is a makeup that was made to cover up burns, but it covers tattoos really well too.
Look into the "Liberty Program," which pays for ex-gang members to get their tattoos removed. They may make exceptions. I know they had it in California, but not sure about Colorado. You can also call up different doctors to see if they'd do any pro-bono work for you, given your situation. There's one located at Swiss Hospital, and one at "Ink B Gone," and I'm sure there's more out there. Good luck.
Hi G.--
I actually don't have any advice about the tattoo (good thing it is winter so you can wear turtlenecks) but just wanted to tell you how fabulous you are for managing to get out of an abusive relationship. Way to go!!! Good luck as you move on and rebuild. Take care. :)
I know how expensive it is. I don't have a lot of good suggestions on removal, but I know the tattoo shops can camouflage and cover it. That may still be too identifiable, I guess. Just a thought. Good luck!
