My friend owns this reception center, they also host birthday tea parties. I don't know the prices but here is the website http://www.surreyhs.com/ click on the "birthday tea parties" on the left side.
My miracle child is turning 1. I will like to make this day a special one for her since she was destined to be here by celebrating her 1st birthday in style without breaking the bank. I thought about places like La Duni in Northpark (the price per head on a saturday including children is ridiculous) Dallas Arboretum and again the dining option in pricing is not accommodating for the group of 35 to 40 people I plan on attending to the party including 25 adult 15 children. Anyone in Dallas/FtWorth area know of anyone with reasonable prices or ideas or party planners?

I'm not from there, but I know the place here for tea and sandwiches has a LOT of breakable stuff and was no fun for my daughter when we went to my friends baby shower. So I don't think it's the best place for kids...but fun for the adults. Maybe you should look at other options?
Skip the fancy stuff and go with somewhere that the adults can talk and the baby can run and climb. She is not going to remember this at all lol. save a fancy tea/lunch for when she is about 5 and can dress up and do a fancy nancy party. go with pizza and breadsticks and just have fun. at 1 the baby is usually fussy and ready for a nap during the party lol
There is a really cute one in East Plano - I went there recently for a bridal shower.
