Need Help Making a Gag Gift

All the other ideas seem a little too calm for me. My family does joke gifts too & my thoughts are to find a thong pair of guys bikini underwear & take the top part of one or two coat hangers & some extra fabric (maybe lacy) and sew those coat hanger tops to the FRONT of the thong bikini underwear to hold up the important front parts of his underwear. Then I would definitely tell him he has to model it in front of the whole family. LOL!!!

I LOVE the underwire bun holder but perhaps also something for the boys up front? LOL...maybe even a pocket to put one of those little air or gel bags into to make it look bigger (LOL). Oh, and my ALL means, don't forget to put some outrageous tag on it indicating the waist size and cup size!!!! he he he...

I would definitely hit a resell shop to see what you can find and cut up to use for parts...too bad you can't figure out how to put straps on it???? Maybe, attach to the hemline and would go over the shoulders to give them more lift? I mean, after all, Bette Midler DID call them "Over the shoulder, bolder holders..." GOD you crack me up!!!! I can't wait for the follow up on this one!!! ;)

What about putting a wire in a Jock strap, that seems more like a bra to me.

Hi A., I know how it is to come from a long line of joksters in the family!! LOL!! The only thing i can think of would be to take a pair of boxers or Boxer briefs and sew a couple of pipe cleaners into the croutch area. Giving the testicle area a "lift" that it needs. I'll ask my dad tonight if he can think of anything. My dad is usually REALLY good with goofy stuff like that!! I think you have a great idea! Life is way to serious, so when you can live it up and laugh about it! That's what keeps us young!! Good luck with your project, I'll write back if I can get any better ideas for you. Good luck!!

Maybe take a pair of speedo's and sew them into the inside lining(well actually attached to the inside because boxers do not have a liner) of the boxer with a thick bendable wiring you can purchase from the craft department??.

OK, here is what I would do: If you are a sewer, I would get a pair of boxers and a bra. Get an inexpensive bra, as you will be cutting the poor thing up. Cut away one of the bra cups and then round out the top of the cup so it looks egg shaped when the underwire is sitting in a symetrical "U" shape. If you want it to look like a real pair of U.W.B's you can attach the bra to the inside of the boxers by stitching by hand around the bra cup. You may be able to get away with using a machine around the top parts, but around the underwire, I would have to say you would need to do it by hand.

If you are not a sewer or chose to not spend that much time, there are several fabric adhesives on the market. If you choose to go this route, it may actually enhance the effect if you get a moulded cup bra to use! That way it will stand out. I would spray adhesive the whole cup area (outside that will be touching the boxers) and while that is curing (takes a couple of minutes) go around all of the edges of the cup with a bead of fabric adhesive as close to the edge as you can get so that it will have a good seal. Now, very slowly and carefully start at the bottom of the cup (make sure you have marked ahead of time the placement inside the boxers) and work your way up, smoothing the fabric out and pressing so the spray adhesive in the middle will attach.

After that, I guess you can decorate as you would like, or leave it plain. If you goof up one, you still have another cup left! And if it works out great the first time, I bet your husband would love a pair, too!

BTW....I am LOVING the cheek lifting idea's, too! Just make a total uber-lift boxer! And, I'm sorry, I would demand a modeling session....shirts required...that will help it be less weird!

Freakin' awesome idea!! I love it. Get a pair of boxers (of course), Then go to Hobby Lobby or Hancock Fabrics and get underwire bra stays big enough to fit his buns (you can find them with the notions that are usually along the wall) dont forget the backing to attach the stays to the butt of the boxers. I would also get some lace do some sort of detail to really make it 'fancy' (LOL) (maybe black silk boxers and red lace trim. Ooh Lah Lah! ; D ). How I would go about making it is figure out where his buns would be in the boxers, make 'cups' and attach the underwires to the inside of the boxers (the stays usually come with instructions) then sew the lace on the outside of the boxers following the path of the stays (maybe even put some around the leg hem). If you really wanna make him 'look sexy' shorten the legs by maybe 1/4-1/2in. to turn them into booty-shorts! You don't need to shorten them that much to show some extra leg = D. I hope it works and turns out as funny as it sounds!

O MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! That's HILARIOUS!!! What I can think of is in the front where you can see all the stitching, just right infront of where it meets between the legs use a pipe cleaner (or however many you'll need) and stitch in the piping. of course our underwires are uncomfortable, lol, so can theirs. Who said they were made for comfort? haha. Just don't let him model it. Have fun!

Instead of sewing speedo (bikini) briefs inside the boxers. I would just use the bikini briefs. I would use some wire from the craft section of Walmart to frame either the front or the back. If you can't find the right gage wire or get it to cup right, Walmart has nursing bras with removable underwire.

I'd take the underwires out of an old or dollar store bra and use those on the back for cheek lifts. You could use bias tape as a casing, stitched on the inside of the boxers.

You could also put the wire in the back for a cheek lift!

The boxer briefs are a great idea! I was trying to think what they were called. But they already have some shape to them, so it will be easier to insert wires into the seaming. And the cheek lift! Great!
