i live in the painesville/mentor area. i'm just about in my 2nd trimester, and i haven't been to a doctor yet. i don't know anyone in the area, and haven't had any luck finding any information that could help me choose the right doctor--all i have to go on is a list of names. could anyone recommend a good, nice, female ob/gyn in my area?
My Mom sees Dr. Liese Vito and absolutely loves her. I do know she has a wait, but I don't know how that applies to pregnant women. I delivered with DR. Guerreri, but he moved to Cleveland Clinic area. I now see Dr. Ahuja. He is Indian, but speaks english very well and is very caring. He even gives you a hug when he comes into the room to see you. I have used lake Ob/gyn for the past 12 years. They delivered both of my children. I have seen all of the Dr's in the office. Two of my fav's are Dr Quinn (male) and I also like Basquinez (female). Janice Wilbur is very good too. I saw her for my 6 week check up and I really liked her a lot too. They have offices in Mentor (in the pink palace ! On rt 20 by Lowes), Willoughby (across from lake west), Painesville ( at lakeeast) Their number is ###-###-####

H., it is very important that you get to a doctor. Have you started taking prenatel vitamins? You can buy them over the counter until you decide on a doctor but you do need to go to the doctor soon. I too live in the Mentor/Painesville area and I go to Lake Obstetrics and my doctor is Janice Wilbur and she is great she delivered my son in August the number is ###-###-####. The whole practice is great. Please get yourself to a doctor for you and your baby.
