Hello!
My daughter has horrible allergies, just to name a few...peanuts, milk, eggs, honey, etc. She also breathes very hard due to her allergies. Needless to say she is sick often, and her current pedi is not always availbale. Her office hours are not reasonable....PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am a mom of two with my 5 year old son with peanut/tree nut allergies and asthma. I took him to see a pediatric allergist Dr. Anick Gaye. She has an office at Loyola in Maywood and another office in Oakbrook near Roosevelt Rd. Very nice woman (french) very detailed and asks LOTS of questions. Very easy to talk to and the nurses are great as well. Also my neighbor has a son with similar problems and I recommended her and she loved her as well.
I agree with the other comments about Pedios. I searched out other Peds. but Pedios is the BEST for "day of" sick visits, after hour calls, Sat. sick visits and early morning call in times.
Hi I have been with this doctor since 1988. My children loves him and to me thats what counts. His name is Dr. K.B. Giri and he is located at North Ave and 1st.###-###-#### his whole staff are wonderful people and know who I am when i call no matter how many months it may have been. My oldest son has asthma so he worked with him in his office to keep him out of the hospital and thats the place I met him at. My name is L. when you call ask for Karen and tell her that I refered you. Hope you find one that your child likes
I've heard good things about Pedios People. I take my child to Ad Park, while the doctors are good, the billing dept. is horrible and they are closed every Wed. Busy practice and sometimes hard to get in.
HI I think you have some good recommendations already, and I just wanted to point out a website that could be very useful to you: www.foodallergy.org
They can email alerts to you & help you with advice on how to cope.
Good luck!
We just moved to Oak Park and took my son to Pedios - they are phenomenal. I called on a Saturday morning and they fit us right in. I can't say enough about them. We will definitely be back.
Might I suggest instead of another pediatrician that you and your daughter begin going to an allergist. My two sons go to an awesome allergist she was referred to us by our ped-Rebecca Barbato out of Loyola University, in Maywood. The allergists name is Dr Annick Gaye, and she is Associate Professor of Pediatrics, specializing in Allergy, Immunology, and Pulmonology. She has been great with my sons-one son (my two year old) is allergic to: eggs, milk, wheat, soy, fish, peanuts, all tree nuts(walnuts, pecans etc). My 4 year son is allergic to all tree nuts. Dr Gaye, has helped us to a point where they both have no more breathing trouble because of allergic reactions, my 4 year does not have ezcema any more at all and my 2 year has rare flare ups. She is great! Here is the number ###-###-#### or 877-216-KIDS. It will be worth your time!
check out this website icpa4kids.com It has great research about chiropractic care for children with allergies and breathing problems. If after looking at the info you think you may be interested in trying a safe and natural approach to boosting your childs immune system give me a call or email and I would love to help. Iam a chiropractor in VIlla Park and I specialize in children. ###-###-####

pedios in oak park is where I bring my sweetie and it seems that all my neighbors go there too. I like the fact that they have an hour in the morning when you can call and ask questions of the docs. I haven't had any problem getting in to see one of the docs. I am trying them all out at present to see which one I like. Currently, Dr. Turk is in the lead.
