I am looking for a dentist for my 3 year old daughter. All of the ones I have called keep telling me that since she is 3 they expect her to go back and have the cleaning alone...even for the first visit.
There is no way she will go with a stranger alone in a stange situation. Also, I'm not ok with it. She is 3. I don't leave her alone in the room with the Doctor...why should I be expected to with the Dentist.
I know some of you may think it is ok, but my husband and I agree on this and what we are looking for is a dentist that will let me stay in the room with her for the entire visit. If anyone knows of one, please forward the contact info.
I live in South Arlington, but I am willing to travel within the Metroplex for the right Dentist.
Thanks for your help!
Children's Dentistry of Arlington, Dr. Michelle Lindsay
I had the same problem, and found this office. I couldn't be happier! They are in North Arlington, in the Lincoln Square shopping center.
ETA: The dentists at www.fundentist.com will NOT let you go back with your over 3 child.
Dr. Carter Hatton, love him!

Dr. Gordon Strole, ###-###-####. He is located off of Hulen Street. We found his ad in Fort Worth Child magazine and could not have been happier. They make the first visit exciting and are super nice. They had no problem with us going back with our son, and I personally think every parent should see what is going on!
