Our sons are 14 and 13 and we are interested on taking them on "adventures". The boys are really excited about the thought but we're all stumped for ideas. Long story but as a family, we've had some really tough years. Want to gear down and focus on the boys. Some will be as a family and some just guy stuff. Only thing I can come up with is camping stuff. We don't live near the mountains but we aren't far from the beach. Interested mainly in overnight stuff but day ideas are great as well. Thanks in advance for your help and Merry Christmas!!!!

I highly recommend taking a rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon!
There are a ton of companies that do them, here is an example (not a specific recommendation, though if you are interested PM me and I will find out who does the best job :) )-
