I wouldnt consider that a fever, but I would keep her home for the diarrhea for sure.
My daughter (7) was achy and lethargic yesterday - had a lot of stomach cramping and a low grade fever of 100.2. She woke up this morning and has no fever but still has slight stomach cramping and had watery diarrhea. She wants to go to school but I am thinking no because what if she doesn't make it to the restroom and plus aren't you supposed to wait until they are 24 hours fever free? Should I let her go or make her stay?
Thanks mamas shes staying home.

I would for sure keep her home. Then again I have a kid at home today because she puked yesterday morning and had a headache yesterday afternoon. Now today she is bouncing off the walls and is totally fine. I wish I would have sent her.
I would keep her home for her sake and the other children.
Stay. See how she is tomorrow.
Your are supposed to wait 24 hours for a flu. But if the child has diarrhea you have to wait till that is gone, because other kids can get sick easily from it. Teachers will send the child home and tell you not to bring them back till its gone. Speaking from experience of course.
So your SWH so I know you didn't send her. Our school policy is fever, vomiting and diarrhea free for 24 hours.
She must be free from fever over 100.1 degrees and any loose stool like diarrhea for at least 24 hours before going to school. It should be in the parent handbook to make sure. Some say 99.9, others say 100.0, so it could be any of those but with diarrhea she's be staying home for sure.
If she has an accident it would give the kids fodder for humiliation for years.
I think you did the right thing. I would keep her home for the stomach problems.
Please keep her home. You wouldn't want your child to get others sick, would you?
