We just recently moved to Frisco and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a babysitter so my husband and I could go on a "date night". I prefer to find a high school student that may need some extra cash. We live off of Teel and Eldorado, so someone close to there would be great. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions (or a daughter that is willing!)

Hello! I have a son, 15 yrs old, babysitter certified, first aid/cpr trained and certified, and is requested back often for those who do have him babysit for them. We live near FM423 and Panther Creek, so not far from you at all! (He attends Lone Star H.S.) If you would like to see if he will work out for you, message me and I will send you his cell number. Does your neighborhood have a website? Our does and after you go through the secure part of the site (safety reasons), we have a list of neighborhood sitters.
Also, ask neighbors. Get out, socialize in the neighborhood. We met sitters this way.
Lastly, kudos for making date night a priority. Too many couples don't and then they wonder what happened.
Have you tried Adventure Kids? There is one on El Dorado. We've used it a lot and the kids love it. It's great for spontaneous dates. You can just drop off and don't have to worry about arranging a sitter ahead of time.
